To All My Friends…
I am sorry for the short hiatus (4 months). Yes, I am still alive. Yes… the book deal is still in the works….and most definitely yes… I will continue watching and reviewing movies (keep the suggestions coming). To my new followers… Welcome aboard and in the words of the immortal Betty Davis… “Fasten Your seatbelts … we are in for a bumpy night (months)”. For my continued friends … I haven’t forgotten you… Let the good times continue to roll. Missed all of you…
Best Regards,
Dad (Steve)

Hey Everyone-I am sorry that I have been absent the last few weeks, but work has been crazy and until Hollywood calls for a new CriticI have to pay the bills somehow.LOL! Then I have computer problems which are not fixed! Anyway I am still up for new requests, but I also am going to fulfill a promise and give my top 20 films, starting with number 20. I look forward to your comments. Dads number 20……The Shining

whatkindofstorythisis asked: A Christmas Story is my favorite christmas movie too! Merry Christmas :) And, I wanted to ask you about your opinion about the movie The Shining. I just've red the book and actually, now, I'm a bit dissapointed in the movie
Good Evening… A Christmas Story makes me laugh everytime. I also read ‘The Shining’ and agree that the movie ame up a little short.. But then again, try to find any movie that actually lived up to the book. I also reveiwed ‘The Shining’ about 3-4 months ago and did give it a good review. Mostly based upon Nicholsen’s performance and the scenes as depicted by Stanley Kubrick. Ihope that your holiday was enjoyable.
All My Best,
Steve
